Refund & Cancellation Policy

Digital Goods

Taru provides one-off digital Readings. Because generation may begin immediately after verified payment, purchases are generally non-refundable once the generation process has started.

Technical Failures

If you have paid for a Reading but our system fails to deliver it due to a technical error (e.g. model timeout or calculation failure):

• Your purchase remains valid. You will see an option to retry the generation in your conversation thread.
• We will attempt to recover the failure automatically where possible.
• If the system is persistently unable to fulfil your Reading, you are entitled to a full refund.

Duplicate Charges

If you are charged multiple times for a single Checkout session due to a processing error, the duplicate charges will be refunded.

Requesting a Refund

To request a refund for a failed fulfilment or duplicate charge, please contact us with the email address used during Checkout.

A verified refund contact will be published before launch.

Nothing here removes statutory consumer rights. Jurisdiction-specific wording requires legal review before launch.
